The 9th grade West Lyon Wildcats; Caitlyn, Denyelle, Mary, Alyssa, Mariah, Marissa, Megan coached by Steph and Theresa (and Jacoby)! Congratulations on making it to the Championship round and taking second overall! Good job girls!!
This group of girls have been playing volleyball together since 3rd grade! They have progressed into a solid team that has been able to qualify for the State tournament in the last four years! Thanks to dedicated coaches and parents we have watched these young ladies grow in their skills and knowledge of the game. The 8 week AAU season takes most of their Saturdays which involve playing 6 to 8 teams in the course of the day. They practice early mornings before and after school all season long. They put forth the time and effort to participate at this level and have been able to enjoy success along the way! It is their dedication and hard work that has helped them compete at the state level where they meet some of the most talented teams in the state of Iowa...Congratulations girls on working hard and hanging in there! We are proud of you!
